I usually answer this question with, “I don’t have one.” But if I was to pick one, it would be Magenta :)

Pan-seared Salmon, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus.
What self-care habits do you intertwine into your daily routine?
For me, self-care resonates mostly in my emotional and physical body, so meditation and yoga is a huge form of self-care in my daily routines.
What's your favorite book and what book had the largest impact on you?
Honestly, I'm not the biggest reader, but it’s becoming more of a daily habit gradually. My favorite book thus far is ‘The Mastery of Love’ by Don Miguel Ruiz. The way love is explained and reconstructed in this book makes you look at relationships and interactions differently.
Who can you talk to when you need to get something off your chest?
Any of my best friends, they’re on speed dial, or my noni :)
Where's your safe place?
My home in Brooklyn, it’s cozy, artsy and peaceful.
Have you ever dealt with anxiety? if so, what triggers it & how do you calm your mind?
I have dealt with anxiety. My trigger is professional settings like castings and job interviews. To help myself relax I like listening to my favorite songs or taking a second to breathe before going in.
Have you or someone you love ever been in a dark place? if so what steps were taken to get out?
There’s always dark moments in life and for me, I accept the feelings I'm having and allow myself the solo time to get past it. Isolation and reflection, journaling, and meditation!
Do you think social media affects your mental health or has any negative impacts on you? if so, how do you best deal with it?
Personally, I just have fun with my social media and be myself. I realized it’s so much easier to do that than to pretend to be something you’re not.
What's the biggest change you can identify within yourself in the past year?
Understanding my self worth and not allowing anything less than what I deserve in my life.
What changes do you want to see within yourself in the coming year?
Releasing fear.
What's one of the hardest things you've had to go through in life? how did you get through it?
Moving to LA at 18, living rent to rent, knowing no one, but trying to make a name for myself! Stepping into new goals for myself and learning to be a better me is how I’m getting through it.
What advice would you give to your 16- year-old self?
Don’t be afraid, the universe has your back.
What's the most valuable lesson you've learnt?
Hard work, pays off.
If you could change one thing within society, what would that be?
The ignorance around climate change and the radical effects to the planet we make everyday.
