When I run through the forest, I feel as though something is following me.
Is it just my mind playing tricks on me?
Am I making it all up?
The sun has retired for the day. The moon has risen.
The moonlight shines only slightly through the tall trees.
Everywhere I look, the forest is drenched in shadows.
As if every part of the forest is bearing the burden of existence.
A weight it cannot hold.
I feel as though I'm bearing this same weight.
My shadow is a reflection of this burden.
Being chased by something always in my past.
Something I can't get rid of.
Something I must learn to accept.
